 A new journal will be launched this summer, to provide supply chain management professionals with the latest international industry information.
AGiLE Business Media LLC, a market leading logistics and business publisher, will publish the journal.
The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) predicts that the journal, titled CSCMP's Supply Chain Quarterly, will offer "a new standard for content quality and market coverage" through the combination of resources.
It will be distributed to members of the CSCMP under their current subscription fee.
This will provide the initial circulation of 9,000, but the CSCMP expects the publication to attract a worldwide audience.
Rick Blasgen, president and CEO of the CSCMP commented: "It will not only bring immediate added value to our members, but will also extend the reach of CSCMP into new areas and provide a solid platform for our ongoing efforts of advancing the supply chain profession's body of knowledge."
The CSCMP deals with all aspects of procurement, including eprocurement and helps businesses to find sourcing solutions to suit their needs.
